These two pieces focus particularly on the viewer/work relationship. Pillars reminiscent of those found in the New York Subway are used as a tool to prevent viewer access as their positioning rejects the conventions of perspective. Through their distortion they appear to be both falling on the viewer and leading them into the space creating an ambivalence in which the viewer is unsure of their position in relation to the work.
